Floid Sandalor Pre-Shave Gel

Hi everyone,

just had my 1st shave with this pre shave gel. The smell is wonderfull, it actually smells like what my grandpa use to smell like. So if any of you know a mens perfurme that resembles that please let me know.

I wet my face with warm water, then put some pre shave gel on. waited about 40 secs then lathered up.
Was it ok to do it this way?

Yes. So long as it works for you, why not?

I let it sit on my face just a bit longer than you -- maybe 90- 120 seconds. I find that it gets just a bit tacky if I let it sit too long.

I put mine on right after getting out of the shower and then proceed to make my lather. If I'm face lathering, that means maybe a minute or so before the brush hits my face. Otherwise, it could be 2-3 minutes. If it starts to feel tacky as mentioned above, just wet your fingertips a little and re-wet your face. A little Sandolor goes a long way.

I love the scent of the sandalor, but I am not sure it does anything for me. I usually leave it on for a minute. Maybe I will try longer. I generally prefer the AOS preshave oil.
