This morning I took my shower , then experienced my first DE wet shave.
I followed Ambrose post on how to break in a new brush, that worked great,
I snantized my vintage Gillette Safety razor. All systems were a go this morning. After my shower with a clean wet face, I lathered up. The brush and lathering went well. I used the suggested Hagen soap for the first shave.The brush was well broken in and lathered my face well. I a put a Lord blade in my vintage Gillette safety razor. Used a similar technique I use with
my M-5. Made the first pass slowly downwards rinsed the razor and continued shaving. I had no nicks and a delightful shave. I need to work on my angles a little better. This was the first shave and was a great experience.
