After 15 years of wearing a beard, I shaved it off yesterday with my 1928 Gillette New Standard. So today, I decided to use a straight since I have a few. For most of the past year I've mostly used a straight to shave my neck. Today's challenge was a new one. I selected my 20's A. White 'Copperhead' since it's the smoothest at the moment. I did a damn fine job if I say so myself. Used CF Cedarwood & Sandalwood cream. Hardest part was the chin. Had a teeny weeper just under the chin that stopped immediately upon rinsing. Under the nose was easier than I had feared. Overall DFS which is all I ever go for anyway. Can only feel stubble rubbing ATG in a few places. Now I'm in for a whole new journey. I can't wait!
