Finished my first restore

I started a thread here asking for advice on a knot for a restoration of my grandfather's old brush. I ordered the knot, put it in the handle and am quite satisfied with the results.

The handle is a Made Rite 303 and the knot is a fan shaped TGN XH Finest. The handle really hasn't changed color as drastically as the pictures make it seem. The before was in harsh LED flash light and the after had some more diffused lighting. I filled the handle with epoxy and the added heft makes it feel great in my hand.

I've got it going through a de-funk cycle at the moment, and hope to get my first run with it tomorrow morning.

yep, that's a tgn finest. wait until 2weeks when she'll really bloom. beautiful brush. I built 2 at first as gifts and broke them in. Built my own 6 months ago and building a 4th for myself again.

Thanks for the compliments. The shine comes from a Meguiar's PlastX and an Ikea kitchen towel.
