B&B is proud to bring you the

"Where In The World Did It Come From?" Contest

sponsored by our friends at

That's right B&B'ers. The fun just never stops here at the B&B Carnival of Smiles. Our friends at Smallflower have once again put together an assortment of wet-shaving products from all over the world.

Below you will find descriptions of a certain products. To be eligible to win, you must tell us the name of each manufacturer of each of the products listed below and its country of origin. All of these descriptions can be found at Smallflower.

Now once this contest is posted, the thread will be closed.

The first twenty pms I receive with the correct answers will be entered into a drawing this Friday evening. The names will be listed and numbered 1 thru 20. We will rev up random.org and if the number selected matches the number next to your name then you are the winner of this great prize from our friends at Smallflower.

(This Contest is CONUS only)

1. Since the Middle Ages, soap masters have crafted exquisite natural soaps--sublime combinations of organic wonders and an ancient art. These soaps are known as the finest in the world, a reputation built by the legendary savonneries and the enduring quality of their product. Their soaps provide gentle, moisturizing skin care along with subtle fragrances that will transport you to another world.

2. This shave cream contains beeswax and glycerin to soothe the skin. Use sparingly! This product is crafted with the rare Alpine valerian plant--Valeriana celtica --which is highly aromatic and healing.

3. Soothing and moisturizing, this shave soap offers a fruity, fresh fragrance while ensuring a close yet gentle shave.

4. This classic shave creme soap has been family made since 1899. With an amazingly crisp almond oil fragrance this lather-rich shave soap gives a super-clean shave, leaving skin as soft as a bambino's. Packaged in a classic red, sturdy container perfect for traveling.

5. This thick lather shave cream refuses to stay on our shelves. Thick enough for shave brushes, the refreshing scent of vetiver & rum brings the freshness of the sea to your morning shave ritual.

6. This large, rustic bar is made especially for cleaning the face before shaving. This glycerin soap contains lime oil to refresh the face, castor oil to soak and soften whiskers before shaving, and a trace of alcohol to remove the dirt which restricts razor glide.

Although we received in excess of 25 responses, there were only 20 correct responses. Therefore the number of entrants that had the correct answers has been reduced to 20.
I don't like these contests because newbies can never win lol

I doubt that anyone got the answers off the top of their head. It was all about deductive reasoning for me. I haven't used any of the products and had to find each one.

I like the late night / time sensitive contests :) I'm always up late, and I like to research :001_smile
Wow, I can't believe I was number 5. I saw the contest 30 minutes after it posted and figured half of B&B already replied. I decided to do the contest anyway... just goes to show you!
