I have found a pipe tobacco that has a room note the other half actually highly dislikes. I was sent a sample to try out, and the first time I was smoking it she commented she didn't like that one. I wasn't super enamored with it, it was OK, but not something that pulled me to want to buy more.
Just to be sure, I put the remainder of the sample aside for a few weeks to a month, pulled it out again, and again, and only second time she ever said anything, she commented she didn't like whatever one I was smoking.
I repeated it tonight, again a few weeks plus after the last time, and she hit it three for three with not liking the room note on it. Fair enough, since I wasn't going to pick up any more anyways... lol
The winner (or loser, depending on how you look at it), is Bob's Chocolate Flake.
She couldn't pinpoint what she didn't like other than it was "yucky smelling". Fair enough though, after three blind tests like that, I won't doubt she really doesn't like it.
