Hi guys,
So I have been shaving with a straight for about 6 months, shaving with the straight a least 5 times per week. I have been getting DFS since early on but my neck has always been a challenge, as it is for many of you.
I shave first WTG then XTG and for ATG I was having trouble as this was a sideways pass, from ears to chin, very hard to do, I nicked myself more times that I will admit...
Being as stubborn as I am I kept at it, it finally occurred to me to look into the much mentioned scything motion with the razor, I went to google and found this video:
After watching this video I thought about doing a North to South pass on my neck but doing the scything with small sideways strokes and VOILA!! BBS on my neck!!
I have replicated this exact pass the last few days and it has worked wonderfully every time. I had hit a plateau and was getting frustrated with the shaves on my neck but looks like I finally had a breakthrough.
I hope this technique helps some of you guys
