Fighting Rooster 1987 US Constitution Straight Razor

Hey guys! I am a double edged safety razor user myself; but upon browsing a local antique shop I came across this little beauty, caught my eye needless to say. As the tag indicates it is a Fighting Rooster 1987 US Constitution, with a mother of pearl handle and gold plating. I do not know enough about straight razors to know if the price (a whopping $325.00) is really worth it, a steal, or a ripoff. My gut is telling me ripoff but I thought I'd check with some actual experts before writing this one off. Thanks in advance for any and all info! -Evan

A curio quality razor, I am guessing, and probably not worth 1/20 that much as a shaver but I could be wrong. Looks nice but the price would be the dealbreaker for me even as a display piece.
