Feather AS-D1 Replacement

I'm looking at getting the Feather AS-D1, but I've read from a couple of different sources that is being redesigned. Anyone here know when the new one might hit the streets. Trying to decide if I should wait for the new one or not.

The certainty is that if you buy an original AS-D1 (new or pre-owned), find you don't like it and decide to sell... you'll be able to recoup most of your investment. The coming redesign is an unknown.

That's what I'm going to do. Just ordered it from Italian Barber this weekend. $190 ouch! Maybe it'll become a collector's item!

It is not for everyone but out of all the razors I enjoy, it has turned into my number 1.

The only thing that I imagine possible to improve in this razor is being open combed. I think everything else is perfect.

I have ordered the AS-D2 and can't wait for it to arrive. I would actually like to buy a AS-D1 also to have both.
