Favorite women's perfume

So what is your favorite women's perfume? Either your wife or girlfriend's, or maybe something an ex wore that you really liked.

An ex-girlfriend of mine used to wear Safari for Women by Ralph Lauren. Years down the road I still can't get that scent out of my mind. Every now and then I'll get a whiff of it out in public and it still spins my head around.

I've tried covertly to "suggest" it to my recent lady friends. No dice..I guess most women prefer to pick their own scents (which, of course is understandable). Nothing I've smelled since has rocked my world like Safari although Tresor is nice.

I loved this story. There was some perfume an ex of mine wore that I felt the same about. Unfortunately I never found out what kind of perfume it was (never asked). I remember encountering another women wearing it a few years after we broke up and it was sort of exciting to smell. I'm still curious what that scent was as she was young when we were together (20's in college), and the second women I encountered wearing it was much older (likely in her 60's). It was odd that the scent worked for both young and old. It must have been a scent like Tabac, that really has no age range (birth to death).

its a bit mainstream, but the first night i dated the current swmbo, she was wearing dolce and gabana's the one. I rember kissing her neck, and the wafts of vanilla deliciousness drove me wild. Everytime she wears it i go nuts.

Careful with that and now it gives us all pause if a woman we know suggests a fragrance to us....

slightly off topic...

you might be pleasantly surprised by what she finds...
earlier this week swmbo bough t some puma edt as a thank you for helping her out with a flooded basement...the first waff made me wanna puke..(my acting skills didn't work, she could tell i was repulsed)

it didn't work at all with her body chemistry, but on my skin it smelled much better, and by the 3rd application the scent has grown on me...

all this coming from a guy who drooped 100+ on vintage and niche samples. is it the greatest scent? no, but its versatile inoffensive scent, and she really likes it.

Great thread Gabe! i was getting ready to post the very same thing. I'm looking to pick up a new scent or two for the Mrs. and wondered what others would recommend.

My wife is 26, Blonde, Blue and built like a bikini model. She dresses very nice though properly/respectfully conservative as needed in a professional setting.

Any suggestions?

I like most floral, sweet or light fragrances I smell on women; the spicy ones don't generally do anything for me. We have a woman at work that wears something akin to Old Spice that I really think detracts on her, but no one wants to say anything because she's so close to retirement.

As for favorites? Don't have any that I can think of.

My daughter would fit the description of your wife, Rob, and she and I discussed frags over the holiday. She loves Angel.

My wife is not big on wearing fragrances, but she likes Creed "Love in White" for dressing up on special occasions.
Sweet, innocent and sophisticated, with sexy and alluring lurking in the background.
