Fat Handled Tech

I admit it, I have "Fat Handled Tech Envy" I WANT ONE!

Is it me or are these razors fairly hard to come by? I've been scanning the B/S/T forums and have yet to see one pop in there.

There are some on ebay, but they seem over-priced. Which makes me wonder, is this the everyone's favorite "old" razor?

They're not all that hard to find. Just passively scanning BST won't probably pay off very quickly though. You might want to post a WTB and see what happens.

I only have one, and it's incomplete, so I added a base from a long comb New that had a severely split handle, and it is the best razor I (currently) have.

It looks a little scary exposure-wise because of a slight mismatch in the mating surfaces (settle down, people), but it's pure nirvana when raking it across my face.

The minty ones yes...but they are everywhere if u look.

Right now, the 195 Adjustable, now referred to as "Fat Boy" is the favorite, I think, although a Toggle takes the cake.

Meanwhile, if you were shopping on eBay for shaving mugs, as I was a couple of weeks ago, the mug sellers all want to throw in a razor and brush to make a set. I have a couple of user grade Techs I've hardly looked at, let alone run through a cleanup, but those seem plentiful enough to the mug sellers. I'm sure there are a lot of them listed on eBay not getting a single bid.
