Given all the good comments about the FatBoy maybe it's not hype. Maybe it's "truthiness".

Seriously, every razor is going to have its die hard fans, its detractors and those who just say "meh". Some love the Vision, some love the Tech, the Slim, the SuperSpeed, the 38C, etc, etc.

I gave my new fatboy a test ride tonight and it gave me a pretty nice shave. Just about as smoothe as my SS+astra. I used Sputnik blades because they came in my sample pack and just like fun. They worked rather well actually. An everyday workhorse? I'll have to give them a whirl on all my other razors.
