Wanted to know what you guys think a fair price is for a fat boy case. I came across one in the wild and got excited for a second until I realized the razor inside was a flair tip SS. It was priced way to high for that razor but I didn't know what the case was worth, so I passed.

A Fatboy in a case will go for more than a Fatboy and a case purchased separately.
A Superspeed can be had in good condition for about 20 bucks or so, and I have sold Fatboys here on the BST in a case for 60 bucks.
I've seen them go for 100 or so as well.
Simple math should help you figure out what the case is actually selling for in and of itself.
Condition of the case is a factor, but generally speaking, if I can pick up a case for a reasonable price I try to grab them. There are a lot more razors without cases out there than there are cases without razors.

I sold one to a fellow member on here awhile back for $14. But just the other day bought a Super Adjustable in a Fatboy case at a antique store for $36. I had the razor sold before I bought it for $26, so I got the case for 10+ tax. Its never a bad idea to.have a back up fb case.
I was at the local flea market and found what I thought was a superspeed in what appears to be a Fatboy case. After a little look on B&B it appears to be a NDC Gillette Rocket. Not bad for the $5 that I paid for the razor and case. Cleaned up the razor and it looks pretty good. I just need to find a Fatboy now.
