Face Lathering Boar Brush

Looking for a boar brush to try to face lather with. I heard the Semogue 830 is a good brush but not readily available for purchase in the states. Will you gentlemen mind posting some websites for some nice recommend boar brushes. I'm looking at loft of under 50mm. Thanks.

You do realise you can purchase this brush directly from Leon at Vintagescent.com he will send it shipped anywhere in the world for only 2.50 Euro... Click the link below :) I purchased a 1305 off him recently and received it in fine condition, im sure alot of people can say the same.

classicshaving.com is another good place to look at Vulfix brushes. I bought a VS/5 from them good folks and the brush is indeed good for face lather, either cremes or soaps. But then again, I also like my omega red 49 and others as recently allowed by SWMBO. Each one requires a different technique. Enjoy!

The Vulfix boar brushes are nice... They have a loft under 50mm, have those nice turned handles, and feel great on the face.

And they're floppy, which is fine if that's what the OP is looking for. Go with the Semogue 830 from vintagescent.com if you're looking for a firmer brush. The 830 has a 55mm loft, which could make for a floppy-ish badger. However, that 55mm loft should be plenty firm with boar hair, and the 830 supposedly has 10% more hair in the knot than the 620, which should also help add backbone. The Semogue 620 has a 50mm loft, but be aware that it's a scrubbier brush.
