Exactly what did I just get with these impulse buys?

The first one is a Gillette Goodwill Razor. The second one is a Gillette New.

Thank you very much! Honestly, not sure why I even bought these! I was looking for Tech's in very good condition, and just went a bit offboard. Unless I get great shaves, expect to see these on BST soon...

Both are great, but you will find the NEW to be easier to use due to its system of holding the blade.

You will enjoy these, just remember to go light!

Great catch! The Goodwill were produced for a short time, and came in a few varieties (see this thread). Yours is the last one pictured. Seems to be very similar to the New at the base plate, but the cap is much different. Just look it over after loading, to ensure the cap is properly aligned once tightened down, and it should shave a lot like the New (which should be quite well ). Nice catch!

Just got them in the mail. They look great! I'll take pictures tomorrow. I'm keeping the New but trading the Goodwill for a pair of very nice Techs (what I was looking for in the first place).
