I tried a BIC platinum chrome blade again. Tried one a long time ago from my sampler and couldn't remember how well it worked. Well, lets just say "face ripping" describes it perfectly. It was basically painful to shave using that blade.

From now on I'll stay with my Astra/Feather/IP blades for non face ripping shaves. Ow.

Had the same experience when I tried to use a BIC blade for the second time (first time was smooth). Second time was very, very, bad. Even nicked myself, and sofar I had only ever nicked myself in my finger with DE
