Ever Ready restore knot size

I have a vintage Ever Ready brush coming that I want to restore and was wanting to get a knot ordered for it but don't know what size. I was looking to make this a brush suited more for soaps as I have a good cream brush. From looking on the board it looks like most Ever Ready restores used a 20mm knot. Would this be a safe bet to go with? It has a C40 stamped on the bottom if that makes a difference.

20mm fits with the least amount of hassle. You might just want to drill a hair deeper to set it in with a good amount of backbone. I've found I dig the 20mm Finest from TGN the best with soaps.

I put an 18mm in my EverReady 150, but with a small amount of work I could have set a 20mm. You should be safe ordering the 20....Finest 2-band fan or bulb are nice knots.

Thanks guys. I actually went with the 20mm Finest. Actually two of those and one 20mm Fan as I've got two more brushes on the way that I want to restore.
