Ever Ready question

I just got this off ebay looking for a new handle to restore, the ones that were in really bad shape were more than these so I picked them up. My question is the c40 knot looks to be in good condition. Are these brushes any good or should I put a TGN in it?

Those C40s are good face lathering brushes. I have a 150 that looks identical to your C40 and use it as my only brush. I have a C40 that is in excellent shape that I keep as backup. I like them more than my Omega 80067 that I use at my girls place. The boar hair is good quality IMO but will be scritchy at first until broken in.

I would try them out first before reknotting just to see if you like them.
