Thanks then. It’s my first choice finishing stone.
This is my Barbers Delight...Who knows what those inclusions are? They do not interfere with the work, but still wonder what it is?

I've heard that too, so I guess soI’ve heard they’re plant matter that was trapped in the mud that eventually gets turned into slate over the course of millions of years.
here it is cleaned up. Kind of gray with a couple of brown spots. Anyone have a little info for me.
My only other stone is an unlabeled stone i found on a local sales site that the person said "it was my grandfathers, and he used to be a cabinet maker." He also sold me a washita. This grandfathers hone may be siblings to this one, though wasn't lucky enough to have a label attached. It is the stone in the background of these two.A Escher from the wild, 7 x 1.5 inches of Thuri goodness

Wow. Eschers, Droeschers, Hohenzollern. Boxes. Impressive collection.
I imagine there's a few knowledgeable members here on escher/Thuri. I was just curious if anyone knew what color my newest acquisition would be considered? My first labeled Thuri I found in the wild in a group of other goodies.
with your experience with multiple stones, do you notice a remarkable difference in feedback between them? The first (larger DB) Thuri type that i have is smooth as silk, but the new one i acquired has a remarkable amount of feedback in comparison.Thank you Gents. After all this, I did not find what I was looking for. I remembered it is at my shop waiting for its box to be built
The boxes on the left were made by me to give them a good home. I was also were missing some rub stones, but some help from the Thuri Master Peter @hatzicho solved that problem
This is a pictured I lifted to show colors. Dark blue to the left, blue green, light green and yellow green on the right. Yours looks to be in the middle
