So this is the Logo of Christoph Luthardt Fikken Sohn (CLFS). He was a miner of Thuringian hones in Steinach and his quarry was the last that closed (in 1966). For a long time Luthardt was the supplier of waterhones to the Escher company.Just won this wee thuri.

Is it the same seller that has the Old Rock coticules? If so who ever lived there must have hoarded some nice rocksThis find has me stunned. Bought on eBay. Seller said it was in a basement in Philadelphia with other antiques.
They all same cut, light green, maybe there is a YG green hiding there but so far the ones I lapped a bit are LG. Box is of a size I have not seen before. Seems like it was really made as box of rubbing stones.
The large stone is there just for comparison.
