errrr....Buttock Implants?

Anyone know anything about this? Anyone had this procedure? Anyone know why this is more popular in Europe than the States? Are American buttocks generally of a higher quality? (No photos, please. Opinion will suffice).

Have you seen European swimsuits?

If I had to guess without cracking any wise-*** puns I'd probably say it has to do with the fact that European clothing is much more fashion-oriented, accenting certain areas as much as possible. Here in North America pants are just pants and you swim in your shorts so there's not really much opportunity to show off anyway.

Hopefully the mods don't catch wind of my joke...

There are all sorts of implants available, including little ones for leg muscles, biceps and the like.
Some people must be self conscious to the point of undergoing surgery.

Don't some Japanese women buy augmented underwear to give them a bottom? Whilst most of the western women are saying to their other halves "does my bum look big in this?"

I knew a guy that got calf implants. He was a body builder but for some reason he could never build them up.

I have amazing calves.
I ride my bike all over the place, and my legs feel like they were cut from solid rock.

Unfortunately, I have yet to find a cure for their pasty white color.

Japanese women, in general, have no booty.

Technically, any woman can have a big backside if she eats enough. It's not just about size; shape plays a role too. Hence, the fascination with the hourglass figure.

Not to be overly contentious or anything, but I don't see such a claim at the website you linked. Did you read it somewhere else?

My apologies. I have misread the opening paragraph of the blurb to mean that the procedure is more popular in the United Kingdom and Europe, whereas it actually states that it is becoming so. Does that imply that it is already very popular elsewhere? Is this a routine procedure in America, Japan, Australia or anywhere else?

I was interested til I saw that it was for men. Bah.

Sadly America has it's own 'buttocks implants' that can be readily seen on the growing majority. They are called 'quarter pounders' and 'krispy kremes'.

Seriously there are implants for everything...

Some people are horribly insecure and will go through surgery after surgery trying to improve themselves. I'm not sure I like the idea of a synthetic implant sitting inside my body personally (barring reconstuctive surgery after a horrible accident).

Sorry but whenever I hear the word 'buttock' I think of that quote from A Bit of Fry and Laurie
