I wrote the other day on how good i thought this brush was, well a week of using it and the hair fell out in large clumps, leaving me with just the handle, so i e mailed erasmic via keyline (the manufacturer) and had a very nice e mail from the customer care product manager saying "we are very sorry to hear about the problem you had with our brush, we strive to make quality products, and if the quality is not up to our customer standards we take this very seriously, we will now have a look at this product in detail, though i will say that we have just been taken over by another company, and our new owner will also want to ensure the products that they have just bought deliver on what they set out to do, please be assured that we will look into this product in some detail, in the meantime please send me your details as we will send you out some products as a goodwill gesture", fair enough i thought, today the package arrived which contained 3 brushes a soap/bowl, shaving stick, balm, and a can each of shaving foam/gel, which i was more than happy with, but 2 things struck me: 1)the shaving brushes are totally different from the ones available in my local shops, not as good, smaller all round, stiffer bristles and very light, seems really cheap and nasty to what i had before, though i will shave with it tonight 2)that erasmic has been bought out by godrej which i believe make some good cheap shaving cream, i cant complain as i had a good sample pack from erasmic, but if this is the first thing the new owners are doing with this brand though they are commited to keeping the erasmic products as they were.
