English Tech - Fat and Thin handle. confused.

Calling you Tech geeks. I recently got my first Tech and now have a small bug to collect a few more good examples. I've view Mr-Razor's website so have a good idea on what i want to collect. I'm after the 'non-ball' handle techs but notice there's in Thick and Thin handle techs with the same looking handle. I believe mine is a thin version weighing 50grams. Is there a perfect way to identify the Thick and Thin versions when buying from the bay? Does anyone have the weights of the two version? Pic below shows the difference (credit to 'xillion' for the pic)

Since I don't have samples to weigh I can't help you with that angle . . . but you would be relying on an eBay seller to weigh something accurately and pass the information along . . . probably won't happen given the lack of professionalism of many sellers.

For me, it is pretty easy to tell one from the other by eye if the picture is fairly clear, if you consider the ratio between handle length and diameter. The fluting just below the neck also appears different due to the reduced diameter of the thin handle.

mr-razor, thx for that image upload.
So long as i can see the threaded end of the handle i think i'll be able to distinguish between the two versions now.
