Encre Noire Review

Guys,

Here are my thoughts on this beautiful smokey fragrance. For extra credit, who can guess the intro music?

Good review. One of my favorite scents. I found Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver to be almost more interesting, but that was just from sampling it in store while on vacation lately.

(From a technical standpoint your voice came across a little weak on my speakers on the laptop while the bottle being moved came very strongly)

Awesome vid!

Learned a lot of new things. very informative.

Never knew Lalique was originally a glass designer company

Thank you! The real fun that I have doing this is researching and learning about the fragrances that I review. I got a lot more in the pipeline including fragrances from Hermes, Creed, Jean Paul Gaultier, Tom Ford's Private Blend, Penhaligon's, Heeley, Le Labo and lots of shaving products.

would love to watch them. please do share when they are available to watch

Great video. And an amazing frag. I blind bought EN because I had read such great things about it and I have to admit - I was surprised when I first smelled it, as it is nothing like I've ever smelled before. Also, as it lacks top notes there is no smooth transition into the heart, so you get hard with these strong mid-notes right off the bat. Overall, a truly beautiful scent.

Thanks for the review and concise description of the scent. I was planning to buy without sampling it first but after hearing your description that's the exact scent that I want to avoid. :001_smile

I know the song is Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones, but I have no idea who's performing this version.

Thanks for the review. I have a sample and I think I'll try it today.
