Edenfield Country Soap?

I was excited to score an old spice mug in an antique mall today, which came with a puck of soap....

It says "Edenfield Country Soap" on the top, and has what appears to be a wild rose impressed in it too. (unused puck). I did a search for Edenfield here on B&B and came up empty. google too came up with nothing.

Any here know of it?

(Wild rose is the provincial flower where I live, but I have no real info that this has any significance.)

(I also scored a couple of razors which I will likely need help with, but will post in the DE section once I've got some pics.)

Thanks

Seems unlikely that this soap has any great collectors value, so I think I'll give it a go next shave. I'll let you know.

Tried it this morning.

Keeping in mind that I only have tried so far Palmolive shave stick (which is great) and a Williams puck, I don't have a great amount of experience to compare against.

It really seemed to lather up good. Quickly created a thick lather.

Smell - mild not strong, of old "soap" smell. I got a tiny drip in my mouth, it tastes very "soapy"

Shave - better than the Williams for me, did not seem as smooth as the Palmolive.

I will use it some more. :001_smile
