Having lived all over France I adore Savon de Marseille which is like the French market soap I used to get in Paris, Tours, Lille, Languedoc, Bordeaux, Nice, Menton, Monaco, Saint Tropez, Monte Carlo, St.Jean Cap Ferrat and mainly Grasse.
I am very particular about my Lavender soap - it has to be made with wild high altitude Lavender soap with the actual flowers in it which is rare and upwards of £50 for a three ounce bar but so worth it.
I got three 4 ounce bars of ginger tonic and lemon, lily of the valley, coconut, verbena, cedar wood, jasmine, violet and rose made with shea butter plus 5 bars of alum for shaving and a natural traditional deodorant plus some beard oil which needs breathing on because it hardly smells of anything so I'm going to put three types of cedar oil in it to jazz it up.
I don't have a beard but my neighbour does ; it's gift for Christmas for him.
