Driving Cap

I decided that I wanted a new driving cap, after some research I decided to buy one from http://www.hatpeople.com/ .
21 Jul I find my cap on their website. Their website is in serious need of updating, hard to navigate and it took some time to find the cut and color that I wanted. Eventually found the cap calling my name, a natural linen Touring Cap in medium cut for $49. Placed order and received order confirmation e-mail.
31 Jul I sent an e-mail inquiring about the status of my order, I received a canned response of, as the caps are handmade in Eugene Oregon I could expect it to take a couple of weeks.
02 Aug I receive an e-mail stating that my CC has been charged the $49.
03 Aug I receive an e-mail stating that my cap has been shipped with tracking #.
06 Aug i received my cap.

Now about the cap! The cap I received is exactly like I ordered, the fit is spot on as befitting a handmade cap. The color is even and the stitching is excellent. The lining has a wildlife motif that is very good looking. I cannot find any flaws in the cap to discuss. As the pictures on the web site are not that good, if I had to order another I would have gone with the deep cut instead of the medium. Please excuse the pictures because a photographer I am not

Very nice hat. I did not like how the brim was not attached to the crown. I have a few B! Wear newsboy/driver hats. I also have some Borsolino's. I really enjoy the newsboy range of hats. If I am not wearing my NYYankees hat during the summer, I am usually in a newsboy.

Cool cap, but although I'm not a expert and please don't get me wrong, I think that this cap is more of a classic 'newspaper' hat line. I always thought a 'driving cap' is one that either has a snap-up visor or the top is sewn down to the brim (something like the pic below).

PS Will you'll also be purchasing leather driving gloves?

Nice cap! I like the lining, thats pretty cool.
I have an Irish linen cap, but in the style like the post above.
