I just opened my first dovo shave cream and perhaps my first "crop"
I experimented different ways of building up a good lather and tried the following each with different types of badger brushes from a 18mm through to a 24mm silvertip.
1. Load the damp brush and face lather
2. Load the fairly wet brush and face lather
3. Scoop out a piece and lather in bowl
4 Try steps 1 and 2 and lather in bowl.
The only result that worked successfully was method 1 but the brush had to be damp enough ie water shaken out but not squeezed.
The result was fantastic and the beauty of this crop is that the effect of the skin when finished is neutral which lets you finish your post shave the way you like.
Has anyon had similar experiences and are there any other crops without nasties that you would recommend ?
