Hope you popped both and enjoyed them!
I kept my collection of old bottles around for future popping and (to feed my AD) purchased a new bottle for immediate consumption.

In champagne, the younger the better (all else being equal). BTW, by the time it makes it to CostCo, it is past it's prime...
At one point in time, I was the proud owner of 50 cases of 1990 Dom.
