Does anyone switch to different brushes, razors, cream/soap during cold weather?

Over the past year I have switched to more aggressive razors and denser, scrubbier brushes. Due to the fact that my face has become rather dry over the last couple of months, I am wondering if it would make sense to go back to my softer brushes and less aggressive razors during the winter. In addition to the dryness, I am getting more irritation than I used to. I also wonder which is better for my skin: tallow-based soaps or glycerine-based soaps - and if there are any specific soap/cream ingredients I should stay away from. I do not use any after-shave products that contain alcohol.

Does anybody out there change their routines and/or products during cold weather?

Not other than that I tend to use products with a "warmer scent" during winter like Tabac, Sandalwood etc.

I seem to use Arko, MWF, and Tabac more often in the winter than I do in summer but other than that I don't do anything different.

I do use cold water in summer and warm water (scuttles) in winter

About the only cold weather change I make is to knock the times a menthol product is used way way down.

I use Tabac more often in the winter and Proraso more often in the summer, Cella , Arko , and Vintage Old Spice get used year round.

Summertime is all about shaving with Proraso, my Omega synth brush and using face-freezing aftershaves.
Maybe a slightly more aggressive razor - for me, this means a 34C.

Winter means using other creams with other scents, a badger brush, and a nice balm to keep my skin from becoming too dry.
Plus slightly gentler razors like an EJ, Tech, 40s Aristocrat or Super Speed.
