Does anyone know if Clubman Bay Rum smells anything like Col. Conk Bay Rum

Recently my ASAD kicked in, so before I go pillaging through my town looking for some Clubman - Bay Rum, can anyone tell me if it smells anything like Col. Conks Bay Rum Soap?

I really like the scent of it, and if it's a similar scent it'll definitely be on my to-get list.

No, they are nothing alike, IMHO. PCVIBR is fantastic, and should be bathed it. Conk's BR should not even be used for incense.

I can't even understand how Pinaud is able to produce such a MAGNIFICENT product....

Just the shape and pirate ship on the bottle made me buy it.

You'll have to understand that I'm terrible at describing scents, but Clubman's bay rum is definitely a cinnamon/cloves type scent while Col Conk's bay rum soap smells a bit "earthier" I guess you could say. Maybe someone else who is better at this stuff could back me up. Bottom line, they smell very different.

I tried a sample of the Conk BR, and I will never go that route again. And yes, I am biased towards PCVIBR, but that doesn't skew my judgment.

If I were to compare, I would say that the Pinaud BR has a much heavier cinnamon/clove scent. Very very spicy.

The Conk BR is much sweeter, almost like a candy. I can't detect nearly as much of the bay in it. I know it isn't scientific, but it is the best way I can describe it.
