It seems like wristwatches are going out of style now that we all have cellphones clipped to our waists that also tell time. Do you still use a wristwatch?

You can select multiple choice on the poll, BTW.

I do. A Swiss made Wenger. Tough as nails.

I'm proud to say that in nearly sixty years, there has NEVER been a digital watch strapped to my wrist. I got my first watch as a lad while Dwight Eisenhower was still in office. Went through a 5-6 year period in the 1970s when I did not wear a watch, but other than that, I had the time. On me.

I have heard that many younger folks don't, because of their phone--or do so only as an accessory and not for its original intent. I guess someday it will be a tradition for fathers to pass along their cell phones to their sons.

During the summer, I really dont like to wear a watch since im dressed a bit more casual for the summer heat. But ill throw on my Tag Hauer every once in awhile.

But since its getting colder out, Im dressing a little nicer. So the Panerai and the Baume and Mercier get thrown into the mix.

I carry two cell phones and am around GPS sync'd clocks most of the day and I still always wear a wristwatch. I wouldn't be caught dead without my handkerchief either so I may be a bit old fashioned.

Yes. I will never stop wearing a wristwatch.

It doesn't hurt that I hate cellphones passionately.

Same here. I don't even tell people I have a cellphone. I only carry it when my wife or daughter might need to get a hold of me. The rest of the world can wait until I get to the office or get home.

Although, if Verizon came out with an iPhone...

Most of the time, for me. I like the little splash of style they provide. I only have a few, but hope to buy a couple more in the coming year. I need a nice black one that won't break the bank.

The only time I don't wear a wristwatch is when I'm bathing, sleeping, swimming, or doing something so messy that I don't want it to ruin a watch...even a cheap Timex.

Of course, how should I else be able to tell what time it is?
I wear a analog Festina, that have served me well the last ten years.

To be honest, people who pull up their mobile phones constantly in the company of others to check for time, messages and whatnot strike me as extremely rude.

I've worn a wristwatch since my parents gave me one when I learned to tell time.

Recently started to wear one again. I had stopped for over 2 years, and just used my phone to tell time.

I realized that it was more about telling time to me. I enjoy the weight on my left wrist, and it is the only piece of jewelry that I wear all the time.

In short, I just enjoy it.
