Classic Shaving has it for $106 currently./QUOTE]
I was looking at this straight as well, but the Classic site indicates it's out of stock and not available for ordering. Any other sources for this razor?

I have the 6/8. It was my 1st regular str8 and it has been a great shaver. It is easy to sharpen and shaves very smoothly.
The next str8 I bought was a Bismarck and it just doesn't seem to compare with the "Special." I find it harder to keep sharp and it doesn't shave as smoothly.

I found the same my special after i honed on the bbw and coti was super smooth and my bismark was so hard to get as smooth and still is'nt.
"for not too much coin, with about a 1/4 hollow blade, this is just a really sweet deal"
-Isn't this a full hollow blade?

Yeah, it's probably not a true full hollow, but I'd say it's between that and a 3/4 hollow blade. Maybe you accidentally switched 3/4 hollow and 1/4 hollow? They claim it's a full hollow, but it's heavier.
