i use the wiki quite often! the Gillette date codes link is great and the newbie guides are awesome. just recently been referencing the straight razor section. i dont even use google anymore i just come here and search the wiki for the information, i feel like i trust the contents of it more than what google might show me and also 9/10 the first few google return links will be something from B&B anyway.

The user page has got me intrigued tho, right now it shows that its empty for me, when i click to "edit" it looks just like the "advanced reply box" like it does for replying to a thread.....could it really be that simple to make your user page? i guess what would you use it for? post your pictures of your stuff? .....i'm not sure i get the "user page"...

Check the bottom right of this page, change skin from Royal Flush to Underground, it works in chrome too.

Luc, one of B&B's ShaveWiki moderators, wrote a thread on Creating & Editing your Wiki user page. Feel free to ask questions there: as Luc says, "If you have any issues please feel free to ask in this thread."

If you need ideas about what to do with your page, check out other people's user pages. My personal page is linked to my name in my sig, so just click there to see mine. I use the page to track my gear, as well as some of my B&B threads and (mis)adventures. You can find anyone's user page by going to your page and editing the URL in your web browser: just substitute their name where yours is. With any luck, they already have something on their page.

When you get to the ShaveWiki page (by clicking the link mentioned in the first post) click where it says User Page. That takes you to your page. It starts out empty, so just click edit and start typing, You can get fancy later.

Your wiki page is your page, you can shape it any way you want. The only thing to keep in mind, it's part of B&B so B&B TOU applies. Other than that, you can list your favourite threads, wiki pages to share what helped you. Most use it to list their shave den, what they got and which products they finished so far. Some even write their own personal articles. You can write one in wiki itself (without being your personal page) but you can use your own page too. If it's an article that's very informative or that you want to write one, the process is also very simple.

Your wiki page is your page, you can shape it any way you want. The only thing to keep in mind, it's part of B&B so B&B TOU applies. I will be working on mine for sure. i like the idea of keeping track of my shave den, things i liked, disliked.

Also another thing B&B offers is the "Reviews" forum. Users can add products, rate and post reviews for products already on there, or just do research on different software and hardware. I use that a lot too. Anyone that shaves and does not use B&B is truly missing out.
