Hey Guys - I was lucky enough to have won the design contest that Deruitem put on a few weeks ago (thanks for the votes everyone), and it showed up last night. I wanted a 22mm knot and upgraded to a TGN Grade A silvertip. Never having used a silvertip brush, and coming off a two-week stint with a Muehle synthetic, it's quite a change.
Other than the color, it looks just like my design. It has a great heft, and it feels great in my hand. I don't mind saying that this is indeed a well-designed brush.

In all seriousness, this is a well made brush. The "seam" between the top and bottom areas is sharp, the curves are smooth, and the corners are rounded perfectly, and the overall finish is fantastic. Deruitem didn't ask for any plugs on this, be he certainly deserves some attention for this.
