When soaps make life difficult for me, they go to the stick factory. At least I'll know that I will get a sufficient amount of soap on my kisser to get a decent lather. I don't know if the labels are readable, but I have a soap from Mikes, Cella x 2, Mystic Waters. I have already had good results with the Cella and Mikes. So Teddy's saga of substandard brush-loading takes a new turn.
PS - I have actually spent some time practicing brush loading by palm lathering and have found that my Duke 3 in 2-band gives the best loading/lathering result. Second is the Semogue LE 2011 Bristle 1, a boar.
