DE. Switching sides?

Just wondering how you do it. I've read one fellow state he uses one side until it's dulled, then switches to the other side. I tend (so far) to use one side of the blade for one side of the face, rinse, and use the other side for the other half. Keeps it even. Then I repeat for the neck.

You?

One side, flip, other side, rinse, repeat.

What I don't understand is those who uses one side of the blade until it goes dull and then switches. All the water and corrosion should make that side far from perfect.

One side, flip, other side, rinse, repeat.

Yup, what he said, except my en suite is too small for me to flip anymore, plus I'm getting old. Now I just move to the other side of the blade. Less energetic, but I'm not with Crique de Soleil either!

Peace,
Pierre

1-3 strokes on one side. When it's ready to be rinsed, I flip it and do 1-3 strokes on the other side. When it's ready to be rinsed, I rinse it and start over. I'm not so rythmic that I shave each part of my face the same each time. Sometimes I go above the chin line on one side then the other before going below the chin line. Sometimes it's the whole side of my face above and below the chin line. Sometimes I save my goatee area for last. It's too complicated to track when I flip the razor. :w00t:

I just shave. There are more important things to think about than how many strokes I've made with each side of the razor.

I use one side until its loaded with lather, then the other side, then I rinse and start again with which ever side presents itself. I only use a blade for 4 shaves and then put in a new one. Thats what works for me. :001_rolle:biggrin::tongue::thumbup1::a14:
