Ok, posted a few days ago on something but I really didn't ask the question I wanted to so here it goes.
Had the worst case of ingrowns a few months ago that started about a year ago. Also never noticed my blue beard until I started DE shaving. So I grew a beard for two months. Still got the ingrowns so I can't say they were shaving related before. Finally shaved the beard off with a Fusion. The blue beard is gone.
My face looks good again, no shadow even after 5 o'clock. Been using the Fusion since taking off the beard. Now I am kinda worried about using a DE again since I don't want the blue beard to come back. I remember reading the blue beard is there cause you are not getting as close. I don't think that is true cause I would use a Fusion and get a BB shave with it and still have the blue-ish tint to my face.
So anyone have any ideas on what actually causes the "blue beard"? Why a DE shave "might" cause it on some people?
