Customer service at Merkur seems to be pretty good.

Before the holidays, I wrote Merkur about a part on the Merkur HD razor, where the threads on the top razor head assembly post looked worn down near the end, the threads seemed to be malformed compared to the rest of the threads and I also have another Merkur HD razor where the threads are fine. They replied the next day. I sent a photo showing the part I needed and the problem. They sent me out another replacement piece, got it today. They didn't charge me anything for it. I thought that was pretty good service.
