What's new

Curious

So, I see these all the time on the you-know-where.com auction site going for a song constantly, and I'm curious, so I grab one. I buy a set of CVS SE blades--I kind of like Personnas anyhow--and wait. Today, it--an Ever Ready that looks neat and seems to hold the blade with a spring/clamp similar to a clipboard, not sure what 'normal' is yet for an SE--is here and loaded.

I am comfortable with a DE, shavette, or straight. Anything different about these that I should know? Either way, will report back tomorrow.

Just get the a god correct and you should be fine. Best advice I can give is to lay the head flat on your face and lift the back end slightly till you get contact with the blade.

What? ............As you can see, your typing is being effected because you wont sell me one of your Jewels.:001_tt2:

They all have variances, but the most important thing is prep. Make sure that your face is highly hydrated and saturated with your shave cream of choice. Then gently use each razor and decide which one is yielding the best shave result. ................Thank you for your military service.

It'll be a Sunday, so no rushing or canned goo. Will do the hot towel and be careful not to try to underestimate the razor. Thanks!

Wow!! Autocorrect never fails to be humorous. I had meant angle. Sorry for the confusion.
(If anything, my mind is bothered for not having enough Jewels. Is 4 really enough?)

I heard 3 is the magic number not 4, so sell me one and you will have magical lucky powers.:001_tongu

Close, comfortable shave. Sort of like a straight but it sets the angle more than I do. Not sure if I prefer it, but it's interesting. Thanks, folks!
