Curious looking old type standard

I have an old type standard razor that I have here that has some odd looking quality issues. Its a 1909 by the serial number on the barrel, and I have another 1908 old type standard as well as a 1920 old type standard that I compared it to. This 1909 looks like it was made with looser tolerances than the other two, and looks slightly different.

The 1909 is the brass colored one, the 1908 still has its silver plating.

The end of the barrels look different

As well as the end teeth on the guard are of different width and the studs dont center as well in the holes as my other two

The patent engraving is also looks rough compared to my 1908 which looks crisp and clean

The barrel looks like it was squeezed from two side with a tool of some sort, but it still fits and screws on just fine

Im wondering if the 1909 I have was made from factory parts that didn't meet standards and a workers assembled them and took them home? Because the quality of my 1908 just looks higher in every regard.
It shaves just fine, im just curious as to why the difference, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a comparative picture of the caps from the top? The "1909" looks to have a thicker cap and guard plate which are signs of a #102-A cap made after August 1921. I can tell better by the corners of the cap. The earlier #102 cap had sharper squared corners, while the #102-A had rounded corners. You may have a post-1920 cap and guard/handle assembly and a 1909 inner barrel.
