For the last 10 weeks I've used only Feathers in my DE razors. I decided they were the best of the best and purchased 100 a few months ago.
On Monday this week I put a Crystal in my EJ, one of the last few blades remaining from my experimentation period. On the first pass I perceived a significant difference in sharpness. Some drag and pulling that doesn't happen with the Feathers. 2nd, 3rd and 4th passes were OK, no irritation and BBS shave. Same 1st pass sensation on Tuesday and today.
It's interesting how our perceptions change over time and with experience.
