Crabtree & Evelyn Nomad EDC

I went in to my local shave shop at the end of last week and picked up a bottle of Crabtree & Evelyn Nomad cologne.

I've been using it for the past few days and have come to the conclusion that it is not at all like the scent they use in their soap.

It seems to be similar to a knock off of cool water I got at an odd lots store (I know that sounds awful but this what I smell). I've never had any of the cool water (original) so can't say if it is similar.

What do you think it smells like?

The shave cream is a little expensive but makes an excellent lather and I like the fragrance. How is the soap?

The scent of the soap is one of my favorite more "manly" scented soaps. It is my #1 pick when I super-stick (use a shave stick with a soap) as the scent of Nomad soap is strong

Think I'll try to find some. The closest I can come to a complaint about the shave cream is that I wish the scent were a little stronger.

The EDT and the soap are definitely quite different. I don't really see any similarity to Cool Water. To my nose, it's much closer to Armani Code but less powdery. I'm not a fan.

I just stocked up on some NOMAD, SIENNA and EAST INDIAN LIME creams and pucks.

The Nomad shave cream smells very green to me..... like freshly snapped peas or green beans out of the garden. Never smelled the soap or EDT.

Personally I think their Nomad is uniquely scented, certainly a refined scent if similar to others. I know that the tub of cream lathers beautifully, thick, and densely.

I have smelled the soap but never tried it, if my memory serves me it smelled exactly the same.


Great soaps worth a try!
