Count the blade usage

I usually keep track of blade usage. I see that many user use dice for that purpose.
For me the dice is object that does not belong to bathroom.
Bathroom has plenty of objects that can used to follow blade usage. It has to be asymmetrical.
For the most convenient is cup with teethbrush. Cups handle serves as pointer for blade usage.

This is just an idea to consider.

Simple it is.
It is something that does not belong to bathroom. More simple and easy is use something that belongs naturally to environment.

Whatever you say, it's your post! Are you sure you want to have a toothbrush open to the environment in a bathroom with a flushing toilet? I won't go into the details on that.

Maybe I could hang an abacus on the wall. Functional Art...

Is it swell time?
How will you continue counting after 8? 8 shaves would be a minimum for me to call it a good blade.

Use your creativity. You have surely something more to turn. I use Yintal Bronze razor holder. I marked it with dot to make it asymmetrical. So I can count 8x8=64 shaves. Never needed more.

Hi,

Participate in One Blade February. Find out exactly how far a blade goes. You will find out it is a lot longer than you think. I find 21-25 days year after year.

So, to keep it simple, I run a blade from the 1st thru the 15th. Then the 16th thru the end of the month. Well within the life span of the blade. Easy. And I don't have to think about it or use dice or cups or toothbrushes.

Or, since it seems that 6 is the number, make it 7 and change it out every Monday (or whatever day of the week you like best).
