Coral skin food recipe.

I absolutely love coral skin food and a little goes a long way but I wondering if anyone has made anything similar to it at home and what's the recipe?

I too love the way it works. I'm subscribing to this, cuz it would be kool to try and make something like it.

Im bumping this because I really want to know before I start experimenting at home. Anyone with any ideas, please help. Thank you.

This is just a quick guess, but maybe try mixing Cornhuskers Lotion with either rosewater and/or a touch of rose essential oil.

Here's the coral skin food ingredient list:

Rosa Damascena (Rose), Flower Distillate, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Alcohol Denatured, Astragalus Gummifer, Parfum (Fragrance), Menthol, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, CI 17200 (FD&C Red 33), CI 14700 (FD&C Red 4)

So Rose water and glycerin will get you close. Add a little menthol if you wanted.

I make my own splashes from witch hazel, rose water, aloe vera gel and glycerin that I really like. Shouldn't be hard to get a consistency close to skin food.

Where can you buy glycerin in the States? I've never tried, but I'm curious to know....

Glycerin can be found in any pharmacy. Make sure you "Keep it clean", pour your mix in a sterile bottle and don't make a big amount at a time unless you plan to add a anti-microbrial. HTH.......

Thanks everyone for your replies my research has yielded the following for item and location. Rose water - whole foods, Glycerin BP is a vegtable based it can be ordered, Menthol Crystals are easy to find, Nipagin is a trademarked anti-microbial from clarian- these types of good are used in the 1-2% range of solution, Fragrance (essential and fragrance oils9, Dimenarlized water - at grocery store, Gum Tragacanth No. 1 is a substance like methylparaben but better and it takes 24 hrs at room temperature to fully absorb water or 8 hrs when heated, The gum can actually be found at store that specialize in cake mixes, the gum is used to make figurines and flowers, and finally color and cosmetic safe dye in low percent. This is my research so far on it Thank You Sue for your advice I will make sure I use sterile bottles and make small batchs. If anyone wants to experiment with me im going to get the supply list more refined and order and go get the smallest quantity possible. Thanks everyone for your help so far.
