Long story short?

SWMBO in England on business and dropped into Penhaligons.

English Fern, Blenheim Bouquet soaps and a couple of assorted balms etc picked up for yours truly.

The balms will be nice, but the newer formulation soaps are not so great.

Still very nice of her to pick stuff up for you, especially high-end stuff like Penhaligon's.

Penhaligon's is great for the smelly stuff but their soaps leave a lot to be desired since the reformulation. The EF soap is the better of the two IMO, the lather is slick enough, but just make sure you shave quickly before it's evaporated!
