Cologne pairing with Speick ASB

I know the Speick ASB is a polarizing product due to its unique scent. I happen to like it, but it sticks around and has a tendency to clash with my EdT. Completely by accident, I discovered a great pairing last night. Before bed, my face was dry and so I decided to use a little Speick. My shirt still smelled like the Tam Dao I had worn that day, and wow! They both have a spicy note and went together deliciously. It was heaven for about twenty minutes until the Speick smell faded. Try it and see what you think.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has a good pairing for the Speick balm?
