Coffee House

Nope, not that kind. This kind:

No more freezing garage for me. My Hottop roaster is now ensconced in its ventilated home during roasting. There is an AC fan attached to the wooden piece in the window, making smoke removal very efficient. The box is large enough that it doesn't get hot at all, so no fire worries.

Crude, but effective.

I have my Behmor on the bench in my heated garage. That was a must when we were house shopping, the heated garage.

For coffee roasting, tinkering with the Wing, and enjoying cigars and pipes.

If it weren't for the chaff blowing almost everywhere with my Turbo Crazy, I'd do the same thing.

I've thought about doing it, but decided that the chaff clean-up wouldn't be worth it.

So I just wait for a nicer day on which to roast. Being in TX, that doesn't usually end up being too long of a wait.

Nice rig.

Scotto, if it works out we can bang one together with plywood and plexie glass to replace the cardboard.

I called PETA, and they agreed that you're abusing your fish.

I understand that Jim is working on a similar setup to BBQ indoors.

I thought about that, but my woodworking skills are laughable. I had to help my son in Cub Scouts build his Pinewood Derby car last week, and it turned into a multi-day ordeal. :mad2: That being said, his fathers type-A personality and engineering skills came in handy..... :tongue_sm. This crude rig will serve for now.

Sadly, Scotto's attempt at a mobile office did not fare as well.
