Cleaning your razor

What's the best way to clean your razor to get all the shaving soap scum off? What shoul you soak it in? Many thanks

You can soak it in dishwashing detergent and then scrub it with a soft toothbrush. Something like that is effective, does no damage to the razor, and doesn't put any potentially harmful substances in contact with your skin when you shave after cleaning the razor.

Scrub with toothbrush and warm water. No soaking needed.

When I build up a soap film I brush it with tooth paste.

Soft brush and warm water only. No need for soaps, detergents and do NOT use any solvents.
