I recently won an auction that included a pair of shaving brushes. At first I thought they would be junk from the pictures, but they got here and I'd swear they look almost new

Even better, I'd swear at least one of them is horsehair (if not both)!
How can I sterilize these brushes without ruining them? The cootie factor is a consideration for me as I'm OCD about germs. Am I being paranoid?
